Delay in IDE when editing code

There seems to be a delay of about 5 secs after you open a code window and you want to navigate to starting editing code. (on Windows PC). This time varies depending on the amount of code.

This also happens on the project CSS editing window which should not have any syntax checking (perhaps CSS syntax though).

Looks like the delay is the syntax checker loading.

The 5 secs does not seem much but when you are moving from one code window to another it adds up.

Is anyone else having this issue with V7?

We haven’t been able to reproduce this here. Any chance you could zip your project folder and share it directly with me?

Thanks for sending your project. I wasn’t able to see it in some casual poking around. Can you give me step by step instructions how best to see this?
